Margaret Strick is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. Her subspecialty areas of interest in Plastic Surgery are the aesthetic and reconstructive aspects of breast surgery, hand surgery and facial skin surgery. She enjoys all aspects of cosmetic surgery. She believes in the utmost professionalism and artistry in Plastic Surgery. As an NHS consultant she regularly undertakes surgery for breast reconstruction including free flap microsurgery, complex hand reconstruction and surgery for facial skin cancer.

She is a fully accredited Plastic Surgeon who is on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. She is fully trained in the United Kingdom. She has undertaken subspecialty training in Oxford, United Kingdom, Sydney, Australia and Houston Texas, USA.

Her qualifications include Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Wits, 1989), Master of Surgical Science (UCL, 1997), Diploma of Practical Dermatology (Cardiff, 2000), Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow, 1995) and Intercollegiate Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery (FRCS (Plast), 2002). She has a certificate in Bioethics in Medicine. She received an academic distinction scholarship award at University and a postgraduate Clinical Audit prize in 2000. Her MSc included a dissertation on wound epithelium motility patterns.

She is author of numerous scientific publications in plastic surgery and hand surgery journals and specialist presentations in her areas of interest. She continues in academic and surgical training roles on the NHS including undertaking responsibilities in the clinical training of Plastic Surgeons. She takes her training role into the voluntary sector training Plastic Surgeons in Ghana on the International Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery Project: Ghana.

As a Consultant Plastic Surgeon she participates in audit, clinical governance, appraisal and revalidation processes. She keeps her practice up to date by regular participation at BAPRAS, BSSH and other specialist meetings.
