Personal Profile
I qualified with distinction from Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ school of medicine. My internal medicine training was in London followed by general cardiology training in Cardiff. I then undertook a period of research at the University of Oxford as a British Heart Foundation Fellow and was awarded my DPhil in 2014. My advanced electrophysiology and device training was completed in Oxford and Melbourne (2014-2017), focussing on catheter ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. I was appointed to my Consultant post in 2018 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. I look after patients with heart rhythm problems, undertake catheter ablation, device implants and also deliver the Inherited Cardiac Conditions clinic.
