About Dr Manish Kalla

Personal Profile

Dr Manish Kalla is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. He qualified with distinction from Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ school of medicine.

Dr Kalla's internal medicine training was in London followed by general cardiology training in Cardiff. He then undertook a period of research at the University of Oxford as a British Heart Foundation Fellow and was awarded my DPhil in 2014. Dr Kalla's advanced electrophysiology and device training was completed in Oxford and Melbourne (2014-2017), focussing on catheter ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias. He was appointed to a Consultant post in 2018 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. Dr Kalla looks after patients with heart rhythm problems, undertakes catheter ablation, device implants and also delivers the Inherited Cardiac Conditions clinic.
