Lou works as a clinical specialist in the treatment of wrist and hand injuries.

She has extensive experience working across both the private and NHS sectors.

Her background is in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, as well as post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation.

Latterly Lou has undertaken extensive training in the wrist and hand – and can provide expert assessment and treatment of hand and wrist trauma, sporting injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, work related injuries and rheumatology related hand and wrist problems.

Lou is experienced in bespoke splinting (including traction splinting for finger fractures), as well as provision of the EXOS splinting system.

She has close working relationships with our wrist and hand Orthopaedics surgeons.

Outside of work Lou can be found enjoying all the outdoor life that Dorset has to offer – including sea swimming, cycling and climbing.
