He qualified from Delhi University in India with a master’s degree in Orthopaedics. He came to the UK to develop his expertise in minimally invasive surgery.
During his training in the UK Mr Narang trained at Kings College Hospital, St. Thomas Hospital and St. Georges Hospital, London as well at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. His fellowship sub-specialty training in post trauma reconstruction was in Karlsruhe, Germany and in Sports Injuries from Insall Scott and Kelly institute at the Beth Israel Medical Centre, New York, USA.
He teaches internationally on courses for arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder. Mr Narang also trains higher surgical trainees on sports injuries as well as shoulder and elbow conditions.
Mr Narang endeavours to provide a high-quality, patient cantered service in management of upper limb conditions specialising in minimally invasive surgery of shoulder and elbow conditions as well as for sports injuries of the knee.
He provides arthroscopic management of shoulder conditions including rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability and frozen shoulder. He also manages osteoarthritic shoulders with the latest technology such as shoulder replacement and rotator cuff arthropathy with reverse shoulder replacements. He also provides management for all elbow conditions, such as Tennis and Golfers elbow, distal biceps lesions and elbow arthritis.
