Mr. Ramesh is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with over two decades of expertise in trauma and Orthopaedic surgery. He is working as consultant upper limb and general trauma surgeon at Morecambe Bay Hospitals NHS Trust since 2024. He has a sub-specialty interest in upper limb surgery and specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care of shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions—including sports injuries, arthritis, and complex trauma.

Mr. Ramesh provides consultations and surgical care with a patient-first approach, combining advanced clinical training with a calm, and attentive manner that helps put patients at ease. Training & Appointment

After completing his specialist orthopaedic training in Delhi (DNB Orthopaedics, 2005), Mr. Ramesh pursued further Trauma and Orthopaedic training in the UK. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow) in 2018 and undertook two leading post CCT fellowship training programmes:

  • Upper Limb Fellowship – Wirral University Teaching Hospital
  • Shoulder & Elbow and Wrist & Hand - Wrightington Hospital

His training and fellowships have provided him with excellent exposure and competency in the management of a wide array of upper limb conditions.

Mr. Ramesh believes in building strong relationships with his patients and always takes time to ensure they feel fully informed and supported at every stage of care—from initial consultation to recovery. His outcomes are backed by consistent patient satisfaction and excellent clinical results.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr. Ramesh is deeply involved in teaching and mentorship. He regularly trains junior doctors and trainee orthopaedic surgeons preparing for specialist exams and is an accredited Clinical and Educational Supervisor from Edgehill University. He also teaches on the national Advanced trauma life support courses (ATLS) as an instructor.

Mr. Ramesh is active in research and clinical innovation, with several peer review publications and national and international presentations to his name. He has taken part in NHS clinical trials during training and fellowships.
