About Mr Khalid Ayoub

Personal Profile

Following completion of his training in General Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in England, Mr Khalid Ayoub had Higher Speciality Training in Upper Limb Surgery (Shoulder & Elbow) and Arthroscopic (key-hole) Surgery of Shoulder and Knee. He also completed a Travelling Fellowship training in the UK, France and USA.

He was awarded with Master Degree in Trauma Surgery from the University of Birmingham.

He works as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Lanarkshire NHS since May 2007. He has had his private practice at Ross Hall Hospital since January 2008.

In addition to his general orthopaedic practice, Mr. Ayoub has a special interest in treating various conditions and Upper Limb injuries (Shoulder and Elbow). He is competent in providing a full spectrum of treatment options, starting from injection therapy and ranging to complex open and arthroscopic (key-hole) surgery. He is also able to treat sport injuries in and around the knee. The vast majority of his operative procedures are performed as day-surgery cases (going home on the same day) when appropriate.
