Mr Conn is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon in Hampshire. He was appointed as a Consultant in 2001. His NHS work is for the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at their Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals.

He is a lower limb surgeon who specialises in Knee Surgery, Hip Surgery, and Foot & Ankle surgery. He does joint arthroplasty with hip replacements, total knee replacements and partial knee replacements (for localised medial, lateral or patellofemoral arthritis).

He uses keyhole surgery performing both knee arthroscopy and ankle arthroscopy. His trauma work covers soft tissue injuries and fracture with both non-operative treatment and surgical internal fixation.

He was the Clinical Director for Orthopaedic Surgery from 2007 to 2010 and represented the medical staff on the Council of Governors of the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2012 to 2020.
