Miss Kerstin Oestreich is a Consultant Hand and Plastic Surgeon. She trained in internationally (Germany, Ireland, Singapore,) qualified as a specialist General Surgeon in 2000, as a Plastic Surgeon in Germany in 2006. 

Her hand surgery fellowship qualified her as a Hand and Wrist Surgeon in 2007. 
She did advanced training in wrist arthroscopy in France and the UK. Kerstin has been registered in the GMC specialist register in the UK since 2006 (GMC 6154004).

Miss Oestreich has been a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon in one of the largest Departments in the UK in Salisbury from 2007-2014 and in the Birmingham Children’s Hospital from 2014-2022. In both NHS Trusts Kerstin developed a dedicated wrist surgery service. She has been in private practice since 2008. 

Miss Oestreich's interest within the Hand Surgery is upper limb/hand/wrist surgery in adults and children. Within plastic surgery she sees patients for skin lesions/scar treatment, as well as general plastic surgery procedures in adults and children. Within her interest in cosmetic surgery, she offers body tummy tuck/arm/thigh lift/pinnaplasty/cosmetic breast surgery/labial surgery.
She has taken part in numerous courses/conferences in hand surgery/microsurgery/aesthetic surgery internationally. 

She did a Master degree in Healthcare Management and a degree on European Healthcare Leadership at the INSEAD Business School. She was granted the award for the Leadership Award Scheme by the Health Foundation/UK. Miss Oestreich presented internationally to lecture and teach as invited speaker and faculty member. Miss Oestriech speaks English/German, she enjoys travelling/classical music/golf/skiing.
