About Dr Kazi Asif Adnan

Personal Profile

I completed my training in cardiology with subspecialty interest in coronary intervention from the east midlands training programme with additional fellowship in complex coronary intervention at the Lincoln Heart Centre. I started my consultant career  in 2019 in Birmingham and subsequently joined Lincoln county hospital  in 2020. I am passionate about my patients and deal with all aspects of heart disease with specific interest in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of ischemic heart disease including cardiac CT and percutaneous coronary intervention

I also spent dedicated time in clinical research working on application of cardiac CT and optical coherence tomography  (OCT) in post-mortem setting and was awarded a professional doctorate (MD) from University of Leicester. I remain involved in a number of research projects within the department as a co-investigator and also oversee quality and safety as the Audit lead for cardiology at Lincoln county hospital.
