Dr Sundararaj completed her undergraduate medical qualification from Manipal University in India in 2000 and subsequently completed her specialty training in dermatology in 2003 from Chennai, India. Following her move to the UK, she completed a non-formal registrar rotation in various subspecialties including general and paediatric dermatology, skin cancer, biologics, systemic therapy, photodermatology, contact dermatitis and minor surgical procedures. Furthermore, she has also gained vast experience in acute and complex medical dermatology during her tenure at the dermatology department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, where she has been working as a consultant since April 2020. She endeavours to constantly enrich her knowledge and skills by personal study and attending well subscribed courses that have contributed to her continuous professional development. She is passionate about dermatology and her commitment to the specialty is evident from the fact that she has consistently worked and evolved in the specialty for several years right from her Specialty Training in India.
