About Kaab Malik

Personal Profile

Kaab Malik is a UK-registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Government College University, Faisalabad. He has developed a broad range of clinical experience across musculoskeletal (MSK), cardiorespiratory, neurological, and paediatric physiotherapy, working with patients in both hospital and private healthcare settings in Pakistan and the UK.

Kaab currently works as a Physiotherapist at The Chiltern Hospital, where he provides assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation support for patients with a wide range of conditions. Alongside his private practice, he also works as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP) in Barnet, where he specialises in assessing, diagnosing, and managing musculoskeletal conditions. His role involves developing personalised, evidence-based treatment plans to help patients recover, improve mobility, and achieve their health goals.

Before becoming an FCP, Kaab gained valuable experience as a Virtual MSK Physiotherapist with Bupa and through community MSK physiotherapy roles in Derby and Watford. These roles helped him develop strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to provide effective care through both face-to-face and remote consultations.

Kaab has a particular interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and supports patients recovering from orthopaedic and neurological surgery, sports injuries, long-term pain conditions, and complex neurological problems. He combines evidence-based physiotherapy techniques with a personalised approach, ensuring each patient receives care tailored to their individual needs and lifestyle.

His clinical skills include manual therapy, kinesio-taping, electrotherapy, exercise prescription, and post-operative rehabilitation. Kaab believes that successful rehabilitation is not only about treating symptoms but also about helping patients understand their condition and build confidence in managing their recovery.

Committed to continuous learning, Kaab regularly undertakes professional development to enhance his knowledge and skills. He has completed additional training in areas including rheumatology, persistent pain management, and cauda equina syndrome, alongside development in healthcare management and project leadership.

Kaab is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery, with a focus on improving function, independence, and long-term wellbeing. Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys exploring different cultures, personal development, and keeping up to date with advances in digital health and healthcare innovation.
