About Miss Jurga Pikturnaite

Personal Profile

Miss Jurga Pikturnaite is a UK-trained Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic and Hand Surgeon. She offers a comprehensive range of treatments across plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, combining technical precision with a calm, patient-centred approach.

She qualified in 2005 from Vilnius University, Lithuania, graduating with honours in Surgery, before relocating to the United Kingdom to undertake higher surgical training. Miss Pikturnaite completed her specialist plastic surgery training across leading centres in London, Bristol and Birmingham, followed by advanced training in Yorkshire and South Wales.

To further develop her expertise, she undertook a number of highly regarded fellowships. These include the Orthoplastic Interface Fellowship in Hand Surgery in Swansea, a Congenital Hand Surgery fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, and an Aesthetic Surgery fellowship at the Wood Medispa clinic. This breadth of training enables her to deliver refined surgical outcomes that address both function and form, taking a comprehensive, top-to-toe approach tailored to each individual patient.

Miss Pikturnaite held a substantive Consultant post within the South Wales Major Trauma Network, specialising in microsurgery and complex reconstruction. During this time, she gained extensive experience managing traumatic injuries, nerve conditions, and complex reconstructive cases, alongside elective and planned procedures.

Her current practice at Bath Clinic encompasses a broad scope of plastic surgery, including aesthetic surgery, reconstructive procedures, hand surgery, and skin lesion management. She performs aesthetic procedures including breast surgery, body contouring, and facial surgery. She also treats hand and wrist conditions such as nerve compression syndromes, including carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, Guyon’s canal and pronator syndromes, Dupuytren’s contracture, trigger finger and soft tissue tumours. Her skin lesion work includes the diagnosis and surgical management of benign lesions, cysts, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, as well as scar revision and reconstruction. Across her practice, she applies the same level of precision and judgement to achieve natural, balanced outcomes tailored to the individual.

Miss Pikturnaite is recognised for her honest, thoughtful and highly personalised approach to patient care. Patients frequently describe her as “the perfect balance of professionalism and kindness… you feel looked after and know you’re in good hands”, highlighting her ability to put patients at ease throughout their treatment journey.

Clinical Interest

Miss Pikturnaite has extensive experience across plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with a particular interest in achieving outcomes that restore both function and form. Her practice spans aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, facial surgery, skin lesion treatment and reconstruction, alongside specialist hand surgery for conditions including Dupuytren's contracture, trigger finger, ganglion cysts and nerve compression syndromes. Drawing on her background in microsurgery, reconstruction and aesthetic surgery, she combines surgical precision with a strong appreciation of proportion, balance and natural-looking results. Her approach is centred on delivering personalised treatment plans that support patient confidence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Miss Pikturnaite also has a particular interest in supporting women seeking surgery following pregnancy, weight change or changes over time. She brings a thoughtful and empathetic perspective to consultations, creating a space where patients can speak openly about concerns relating to body confidence, function and appearance, and feel supported in making informed decisions about treatment.

Testimonials

“I couldn’t be happier with my experience and the results of my pinnaplasty. From the initial consultation to the follow-up appointments, the entire process was smooth and professional. I felt listened to and at ease when making my decisions. The change in my appearance and confidence has been life-changing. I highly recommend Miss Pikturnaite. It has been a truly positive experience all around.“

“Jurga is a fantastic surgeon, from the first consultation she was professional, open and honest. She made me feel at ease and ensured all of my questions were answered during the process. I’m so pleased with the results of the surgery and would definitely recommend her. Thank you so much, Jurga!”

“The whole process from first contact through to final sign off was perfect. I could not have asked for more. The surgeon Miss Pikturnaite definitely went the extra mile in terms of treating me and the operation was a total success. I can certainly compliment her on how she conducts herself in the pre and post surgery care meetings and four months after the operation, you can hardly see a scar so neat are the stitches.”

“Miss J Pikturnaite was very friendly and comforting and went through details of the operation very thoroughly, whilst also keeping the enthusiasm in the room. She didn’t only make sure to tick off everything she needed to say, but also gave answers to all my questions regarding recovery, gym and work. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations!”

“I can’t praise Dr Jurga enough for how well she’s looked after me on the run up, during, and after my surgery. I felt at ease from my very first meeting with her, she listened to me, answered all the questions I had and gave me plenty of time to consider the treatment and make decisions. She’s the perfect balance of professionalism and kindness- you feel looked after, know you’re in good hands, and it’s clear she’s an expert in what she does but at no point do you feel intimidated or like “just another patient”. On the morning of the surgery I felt so relaxed and calm and again just felt like I was given lots of time to prepare and ask questions and I went into the surgery feeling relaxed and happy. I’m almost 2 weeks post surgery now and the aftercare has been just as good. The communication has been amazing, I had a question after I got home and got the answer to it within about 15 minutes! Everything is looking great and healing well and I’m just so happy I had the surgery, and found the perfect surgeon!”
