About Mr Jon Newton

Personal Profile

Mr Jon Newton qualified from Edinburgh University in 1994. He initially trained as a General Practitioner in Scotland and Queensland, Australia whilst balancing medical duties with a career as a semi-professional rugby player. His Higher Surgical Training took place on the East of Scotland rotation and he completed his Rhinology Fellowship in Melbourne, Australia.

He was appointed Consultant ENT surgeon at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in 2012. He is experienced in all aspects of general ENT surgery with particular experience in specialty treatment for rhinology conditions such as sinus complaints, allergy, snoring and cosmetic rhinoplasty. He has published widely in the medical literature on all aspects of ENT surgery and has published and presented his research all over the world. His regular practice is at Forth Valley Royal Hospital but consults and operates privately at Kings Park Hospital, Stirling.
