Mr Giddie qualified from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2007 before completing his basic and higher surgical training within the East of England rotation in 2018.
He undertook two fellowships; the Windsor Foot and Ankle fellowship and a diabetic and trauma fellowship at King’s College Hospital London.
He was awarded a British Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) travelling fellowship, which he spent in France. Prior to his appointment to this unit he worked as a locum consultant at King’s College Hospital.
He is currently the clinical governance lead at Wexham and Heatherwood hospitals, a role where he works on pathways to enhance patients’ experiences within the trust.
