Jade is a passionate physiotherapist with a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and post-operative rehabilitation. She has a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiology and Sports Science from the University of Glasgow and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University. Alongside her physiotherapy qualifications, Jade is also a qualified sports massage therapist, personal trainer and gymnastics coach, giving her a strong understanding of movement, exercise and rehabilitation.
Jade takes a patient-centred approach, focusing on what is important to each individual and helping them work towards their own goals. She takes the time to understand each patient’s symptoms, lifestyle and how their condition is affecting them before creating a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan. She believes education and exercise are key components of effective physiotherapy and aims to give patients the knowledge, confidence and tools to take an active role in their recovery and become more independent.
Having previously been a competitive acrobatic gymnast, Jade has a particular interest in sport and understands the physical demands of training, as well as the importance of effective rehabilitation and injury prevention. Ultimately, she wants to help each patient get back to doing the things that are important to them, whether that is returning to sport, hobbies, exercise or everyday activities.
