In addition to general gynaecology conditions, her specialist interest lies in urogynaecology, focusing on pelvic floor health. She believes this to be a crucial determinant of quality of life for women after childbirth, during the menopause and in later life. She welcomes women with concerns around prolapse, bladder or bowel problems and offers minor continence procedures, including botox and collagen injections for urinary leakage, as well as larger surgeries for prolapse.
Beyond her clinical practice, she is also the Chair of Gynaecological Governance at Hillingdon Hospital, where she works to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
In 2022, she founded a Perinatal Pelvic Health Service with funding from NHS England, that aims to support women with pelvic floor dysfunction during the transformative phases of motherhood and beyond. She works collaboratively with pelvic health physiotherapists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Finally, she prides herself on individualised care, recognising that each woman’s journey is unique. She seeks to provide compassionate care with the aim of empowering women to take charge of their well-being.
