Personal Profile

Mr Irfan Siddique is a senior highly specialised Consultant in Spinal Surgery.  His NHS practice is based at Salford Royal NHS Trust, the busiest centre for spinal surgery in the country and one of the largest in Europe.  He has been a consultant member of the Complex Spinal Surgery team at the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences since 2010.

Mr Siddique completed his advanced Fellowship training in Spinal Surgery in Manchester and Birmingham. Having been awarded the prestigious Soli Lam Spinal Fellowship by the British Orthopaedic Association in 2008/9 he has undertaken fellowships in renowned centres for Spinal Surgery in Germany and Switzerland.

He has a keen interest in research and has authored over 30 peer reviewed publications with over 800 citations of his work.  He is actively involved in teaching and training of medical students, trainee surgeons, physiotherapists as well as mentoring and assisting other spinal surgeons.
