Dr. Rachabattula is a highly esteemed Consultant Endocrinologist based in London, with a distinguished career spanning 20 years in the NHS. She currently practices at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with her main NHS work at the King’s Bromley sites, and also offers private consultations at Chelsfield Park Hospital, Orpington.

After completing her Foundation and Core Medical Training, Dr. Rachabattula pursued higher specialist training (CCT) in the prestigious London Deanery, rotating through several leading London hospitals. During this period, she developed extensive expertise across Endocrinology, Diabetes, and General Medicine, culminating in the successful completion of her specialist training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

In 2017, immediately following her training, she was appointed as a Consultant Endocrinologist at King’s College Hospital. Within the Trust, she plays a pivotal role as a key member of the Endocrinology department. At an organisational level, Dr. Rachabattula holds important leadership positions as Lead for Clinical Governance in Diabetes and Endocrinology and Lead for Patient Outcomes within the General Medicine Care Group. In these roles, she has been instrumental in strengthening clinical governance frameworks, driving service improvements, and integrating multidisciplinary care pathways — all with the aim of improving patient safety, outcomes, and experience.

Dr. Rachabattula is also actively engaged in research and academia, with several publications in peer-reviewed journals and numerous presentations at both national and international conferences in Diabetes and Endocrinology. 

Alongside her clinical and academic work, she maintains a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring, serving as an Educational Supervisor for trainee doctors within the NHS. Through this role, she continues to support the development of future clinicians while fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Her specialist areas of interest include Thyroid disorders (Thyroid cancer, Thyroid nodules, Overactive and underactive thyroid), Parathyroid and calcium disorders, Addison’s disease, Pituitary disorders, PCOS, Menopause, Male Hypogonadism, Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension and Osteoporosis.
