Personal Profile

Dr Honer Kadr is a Consultant Cardiologist at London Independent Hospital offering private cardiology care.  Dr Kadr has extensive expertise in all aspects of general cardiology, specifically in the area of ischaemic heart disease, i.e. angina, heart attacks, valvular heart disease and palpitations.  Over the past 15 years Dr Kadr has been involved in extensive research programmes in different areas of cardiovascular medicine, the results of which have shaped our current practice in treating heart conditions. 

Dr Kadr has a broad cardiology practice at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospital NHS Trust including both clinical and investigational services, covering non-invasive tests, i.e. echocardiograms, all modalities of cardiac monitoring and exercise tests.  Dr Kadr performs weekly sessions of cardiac catheterisation and coronary angiograms and transoesophageal echocardiograms.
Dr Kadr is married with two children and lives in Essex. 

Outside of his professional practice he enjoys sporting activities, mainly swimming and jogging and has a keen interest in English premier league football.
