Dr Helen Wall is a Bolton-born and bred General Practitioner with a longstanding commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. She offers Private GP appointments at The Beaumont Hospital in Bolton for self-pay patients.

She qualified in Medicine in Newcastle-upon-Tyne before returning to her roots in Greater Manchester, where she has dedicated much of her career to serving the local community across a variety of clinical settings.

Dr Wall became a GP partner in 2012 and has since built a diverse and respected career spanning primary care, out-of-hours services, hospice medicine and women’s health. Alongside her clinical practice, she has also contributed significantly to NHS leadership and management, holding roles in public health and healthcare management for over a decade.

A passionate advocate for women’s health, Dr Wall has developed expertise in this area throughout her career. Dr Wall is also a respected communicator and educator. She is a published author and credible voice, with her book, 'ADHD and Menopause', releasing by Penguin in May 2026. Through her writing, she aims to shine a light on under-recognised aspects of women’s health and empower patients with accessible, evidence-based information. In addition, she works as a GP columnist and media broadcaster, regularly contributing to public discussions around health and wellbeing. Her ability to translate complex medical information into clear, relatable messaging has made her a trusted voice for patients and the wider public.

Additionally, Dr Wall has a developing specialism in the effect of hormonal changes on ADHD in women.
