Mrs Hazarathamma Makam completed her medical school training in Ukraine, followed by completed Postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She had undertaken training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK. CCT qualified, Currently working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in Urogynaecology at Lincoln County hospital since 2023.

Her special interest is in Urogynaecology, Benign Gynaecology and Menopause. She deals with the patients with vaginal prolapse, bowel prolapse, bladder prolapse, urinary incontinence, stress urinary incontinence, urinary urgency, urge incontinence, overactive bladder; recurrent urinary infections; defecation problems, bladder pain, interstitial cystitis, menstrual disorders; menorrhagia (heavy periods), irregular periods, post-coital bleeding, pelvic pain; including gynaecological pain, dyspareunia (painful intercourse), ovarian cyst management, hormone replacement therapy, menopause, postmenopausal bleeding, vaginal infections (recurrent thrush, recurrent bacterial vaginosis), and lack of libido.
