Mr Habib Tafazal is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience in surgery and a strong academic, teaching, and leadership background. He completed his medical degree at Leicester Warwick Medical School in 2005, following a BSc in Biomedical Science, and subsequently earned his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in General Surgery in 2015. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Warwick.

Mr Tafazal has extensive expertise in oncoplastic breast surgery, including complex reconstructive procedures such as implant-based and autologous reconstructions, pre-pectoral techniques, lipomodelling and Goldilocks procedure.

He has held consultant positions at several NHS trusts, including Peterborough City Hospital, where he served as Clinical Lead, and currently practices at Kettering General Hospital. Mr. Tafazal is actively involved in multidisciplinary care and has chaired numerous breast cancer MDTs.

A passionate educator, he has delivered extensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and is an experienced clinical supervisor and mentor. He regularly presents at national and international conferences and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals on topics ranging from breast cancer surgery to reconstructive techniques.
