About Dr Guy Faust

Personal Profile

Dr Faust graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1997 having completed a B.Med.Sci. degree in immunology. His initial training was in general medical specialities before commencing specialisation in oncology in 2000, gaining his MRCP qualification in 2001.

Dr Faust undertook clinical research investigating resveratrol, a red wine derivative, as an Oncology Clinical Fellow at the University of Leicester. After completing his research he began his Specialist Registrar training in oncology in 2005 at the University Hospitals of Leicester, gaining his Specialist Training Certificate in 2010. He took up his first consultant post in January of that year at Northampton General Hospital and worked locally until September 2013.

As a Consultant in Medical Oncology he is currently working at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.  He participates in multidisciplinary meetings in skin and urology cancers. Dr Faust is currently an investigator in a number of national and international clinical trials. He is able to offer a treatment portfolio that may not be routinely available within the NHS. Dr Faust is also happy to offer a second opinion or further explanation in relation to your cancer.

  • Malignant melanoma 
  • Non-melanoma skin cancers
  • Urological cancers – including kidney, bladder and prostate cancers
  • Germ cell cancers – testicular and non testicular
