British Association of Sport & Exercise Medicine
Dr Guy Evans is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine, with extensive experience in managing athletes at both elite and recreational level.
He is currently the Chief Medical Officer at the Lawn Tennis Association and has previously been the Lead Doctor at Bath Rugby Club, Chief Medical Officer for the British Swimming team and worked with the Great Britain rowing team through two Olympic cycles. He has supported teams at Olympic Games, World and European Championships.
Dr Evans did his undergraduate training at the University of Birmingham and a complete a Sport & Exercise Masters at the University of Nottingham with Honours. He is a competitive triathlete himself, having raced Iron-man Triathlon and representing Great Britain in his age-group at four ITU Long Course World Championships, as well as the Iron-man World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
