About Fiona Norwood

Personal Profile

Dr Fiona Norwood studied medicine at Guy's & St Thomas Hospital and undertook a PhD on structural and protein biochemistry in Cambridge. After completion of her specialty training she was appointed as a Consultant at The Princess Royal University Hospital and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2005, becoming the Lead Clinician in Neurology at King's College Hospital in 2008.

Dr Norwood is a consultant neurologist undertaking both general and sub specialty neurology practice. She has a specialist interest in all aspects of muscle diseases and myasthenia gravis.

Her specific research interests include pregnancy in patients with myasthenia gravis, and muscle disease.
