Dr Farzana Shora attended King’s College London from where she did her BSc. in Biotechnology  (Hons) and completed her MB BS with distinction in 2004. She completed her post graduate training through London Teaching Hospitals and acquired Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom- MRCP. She specialized in General Practice and became a Member of Royal College of General Practice.

Dr Shora has been a GP in NHS for the last 14 years, working initially in partnership with her father before managing a busy practice single-handedly, including a very challenging pandemic period. The Practice looked after a diverse population of 4,000 people.Subsequently the Practice merged with another Practice and Dr Shora now works as a Partner with three other partner colleagues in a training practice with a patient list size of over 11,000.

Dr Shora has a Diploma in Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Medicine (DFFP) from Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecologist. She offers advice on contraception and family planning. She has competency in fitting and removing implants and coils and has been running a clinic for this in her surgery. She has gained a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology qualification.(DRCOG)

She has a vast clinical experience in management of chronic diseases like COPD, asthma, diabetes, hypertension and heart failure. She brings in knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and managing wide range of acute medical and minor surgical conditions. She has good knowledge and experience in managing  common mental health problems in primary care, providing care to older as well as very young people. She has built a very good therapeutic relationship with Secondary Care providers and also other voluntary organizations involved in patient care.

Dr Shora is a hardworking and conscientious professional with a long experience of working in Primary NHS Care. She has worked with various professions and in different and varied settings. She has developed long professional relationships with her patients and their families based on mutual trust. Dr Shora has also established closed networking with colleagues in Acute Hospital, Local Mental Health Trusts, Social Services and other care agencies who are involved in patient care.

Recently, Dr Shora wanted to diversify her skills and thus she completed training in Aesthetic Medicine and was successfully awarded IQ Level 7 in injectables Botox and fillers.
