About Dr Farha Fatima

Personal Profile

Dr Fatima has been a practising Consultant since 2017 in the NHS Grampian, with an Honorary Senior Lecturer status with the University of Aberdeen.

Prior to taking up her consultant post she completed her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in Aberdeen. 

Her special interest in is in treating women with menstrual disturbance, pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, vaginal surgery, and postmenopausal bleeding problems.

Her operative expertise includes laparoscopic benign gynaecology surgeries and open hysterectomies.

She is actively engaged in training and education with medical students and is also an Educational Supervisor for the trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Elgin and Aberdeen.
