Miss Enaya Mirza is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 13 years of experience supporting women with a wide range of gynaecological concerns. She has expertise in abnormal bleeding, advanced hysteroscopic surgery, colposcopy and the assessment of gynaecological cancers.
Miss Mirza provides thorough, evidence-based care in a calm and supportive environment, helping women feel informed and confident in their treatment decisions.
Miss Mirza trained at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical School and completed her specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training across South London. During her training, she gained additional specialist experience in diagnostic gynaecological oncology and minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
In her NHS role she is the unit lead for gynaecological oncology and ambulatory gynaecology at Ashford and St Peters Hospital. She is a core member of the specialist gynae-oncology MDT and a BSSCP certified colposcopist.
Miss Mirza has completed the British Menopause Society advanced certificate for menopause care and holds a diploma with the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Miss Mirza has advanced expertise in outpatient and operative hysteroscopy, allowing her to diagnose and treat conditions such as polyps, fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding using minimally invasive techniques. She is also highly skilled in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, having performed hundreds of complex procedures such as laparoscopic hysterectomies.
Apart from her skills Miss Mirza is known for her calm and reassuring manner and helping patients feel involved in decisions about their care. Patients often value her ability to explain complex medical issues in a way that feels clear, approachable and empowering.
