Miss Emma Mulgrew is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery at Beaumont Hospital in Bolton.

She completed her medical school training at The University of Liverpool and orthopaedic surgery training in Greater Manchester. She has a keen interest in sport-related injuries and arthroscopic surgery. 

Miss Mulgrew is involved in teaching and training junior surgeons at many levels, teaching within the NHS and having links with the University of Salford and now establishing them with the University of Bolton.

She has competed at an international level in Taekwondo for several years, and acted as the travelling medic with the ITF Taekwondo team. This has given her a unique insight to the needs of sports players at all levels.
