First appointments are 30 minutes long and you can speak to Emily about any health concerns that you have. Should you need any onward referrals, Emily will handle these for you also by onward referring at Manor Hospital or externally if required.
Emily also works with one of our nurses to run the Health Assessment service. If you would like to book in to have a Health Assessment, you can call 0800 004 600 to make an appointment, these can not be booked online and some questions need to be asked at the point of booking.
There are different levels of Health Assessment, Level 1 is ran by the Health Assessment nurse, and levels 2 and 3 are offered jointly by the nurse followed by an assessment with Dr Thompson.
Emily first qualified from Leicester Medical School in 1995. During her speciality training in General Practice she gained experience in a wide breadth of specialities including obstetrics and gynaecology, accident and emergency, paediatrics and palliative care .
Dr Thompson has been a practising as a GP since 2001, and continues to work in a variety of different GP settings including both NHS and private General Practice.

As a private patient, you shouldn't experience long waits between appointments. We can usually offer you an initial consultation within days of you getting in touch, and we'll book you in for the treatments you need on a date and time that suits you.
