She graduated from Leicester Medical School in 2008 and completed foundation training in Leicester Hospitals, working in various specialties, including General Surgery, Urology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Orthopaedics and Rheumatology. Dr Peysakhova completed her GP training in 2017 and gained her MRCGP qualification. During her GP training, she took a particular interest in Women’s Health, while working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department and successfully obtained the DRCOG qualification.
Her GP training provided her with invaluable experience of work in A&E department, Paediatrics (both hospital and community based settings), Respiratory Medicine and Psychiatry.
Dr Peysakhova enjoys her work in General Practice, taking a holistic approach to patient care. She believes in preventative medicine and keeps up-to-date with latest treatments and techniques and follows evidence based guidelines.
She currently divides her her time between Private and NHS General Practice.
Dr Peysakhova speaks fluent Russian and frequently sees patients from Eastern Europe and Asia.
