  • FRCOphth: Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
  • Advanced Fellowship: He completed two advanced retinal surgery fellowships, in addition to a 6-month fellowship in medical retinal disease at Moorfields.

Mr Casswell has been practicing since 2010 and has a wealth of clinical experience, Mr. Casswell has held key positions at leading hospitals and eye clinics.

Mr. Casswell earned his medical degree from University College London and pursued his ophthalmic training in North London, with five years spent at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He further honed his expertise through two advanced retinal surgery fellowships and a 6-month fellowship in medical retinal disease, also at Moorfields.

Throughout his career, Mr. Casswell has received over 40 academic awards, including the University of London MBBS Gold Medal in 2010, the FRCOphth Crombie Gold Medal in 2013, and the Harcourt Gold Medal in 2017. He completed an MD research degree at UCL in 2020 and continues to actively research retinal eye disease.
