Personal Profile

Dr Edward Barnes was appointed as a consultant cardiologist in Swindon in 2002. Prior to this he was a specialist registrar in Bristol and spent a 3-year fellowship at the Hammersmith Hospital.

He is currently the Clinical Lead for Cardiology at the Great Western Hospital and was previously the Clinical Lead for the Avon, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset Cardiac network and continues to be closely involved.
