Miss Khan-Lim is an experienced Ophthalmologist with expertise in eyelid conditions. She graduated from Imperial College London, completed higher surgical training at Southampton and subsequently undertook the prestigious Oculoplastic fellowship at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. She was appointed to a consultant post at Southampton Eye Unit in 2009 and has multiple Clinical Excellence awards in recognition of her outstanding clinical care and dedicated leadership.

She is a regional expert recognised nationally for both her facial spasms clinic and as a founding member of the Wessex Facial Nerve Centre for facial palsy treatments. She is a member of the local skin cancer clinical experts team working with dermatologists and facial surgeons to treat skin cancer. As an advanced injectable therapy practitioner she treats both cosmetic and non-cosmetic indications.

She has an international reputation for education. She leads surgical training at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and has led Undergraduate education for the University of Southampton. She has carried out international prizewinning research into the molecular biology of dry eye conditions to help improve patient treatments. For this novel work she was awarded a PhD and a prestigious American Academy of Ophthalmology Prize and prestigious grants from the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association as well as the National Eye Research Centre. She is recognised as a regional expert in blepharitis, dry and watery eye treatment.
