Personal Profile

Mr Mistry is a fellowship trained ENT Consultant with a broad, established practice as NHS Consultant at Calderdale And Huddersfield NHS Trust since 2014. In 2020 he was appointed to the position of Clinical Lead in ENT.

Mr Mistry has the ability to deliver cutting edge care to patient. Through his training and fellowship experience, he has developed specialist skills in managing disorders of the ear, hearing balance, noise, sinuses, throat and voice.

Keeping at the forefront of developments in ENT is his active engagement in research and teaching. He has published numerous scientific papers, is a teaching faculty member on surgical courses and is also a designated trainer and supervisor to trainee surgeons. 

 

Clinical Interests

Mr Mistry treats hearing loss, blocked ears, ear infections, dizziness, blocked nose, sinusitis, tonsillitis, tonsil stones, hoarseness, neck lumps, ear wax, otitis media, deviated septum, nasal polyps, chronic sinusitis, perforated ear drum, ear canal stenosis, cholesteatoma, otosclerosis, bppv, menieres and labyrinthitis.

He has a wealth of experience in general ENT procedures such as tonsillectomy, grommet insertion, earwax removal and endoscopy.

Also, he has a specialist skill in eardrum repair (myringoplasty/tympanoplasty), ossicular reconstruction and hearing implants, mastoidectomy, turbinate surgery, septoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery.
