About Dr Dinesh Damodaran

Personal Profile

Dr Dinesh Damodaran underwent junior doctor training in north west England and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. 

Dr Damodaran completed his specialist Neurology training at Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre (GMNC), developing special interests in movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease, and atypical Parkinsonian disorders. Dr Damodaran also has a clinical interest in headaches and migraines, where he provides a wide range of treatments including nerve blocks, Botox and CGRP injections. He provides his NHS service at the Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust and the Whiston hospital. 

As an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Liverpool University, he is actively involved in teaching undergraduate medical students. As a Royal College Tutor, he oversees the training of postgraduate doctors at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust and as Educational Lead for IMT (Internal Medical Training) under the Health Education England (NW) he arranges and oversees the teaching and training of the medical trainees within the Deanery.
