Ms Diane Nicholl is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon with extensive experience. Since 2011, she has held the position of Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Trust, following a similar role at Lambeth PCT in 2010.

Training

From 2007 to 2010, Ms Nicholl undertook specialist surgical registrar roles, including posts at Lambeth PCT, under Professor Tago West at Middlesex Hospital, and with Mr Ian Beech at Greenwich PCT. In 2008, She also practiced as a Podiatric Surgeon at West Mendip Hospital in Somerset.

Practice

In the private sector, Ms Nicholl has been the Clinical Director and Specialist in Human Movement Studies at Fitter Feet for Life since 1986, providing expert foot health care.

Teaching

In addition to clinical practice, she has contributed to teaching and obtained a Medical Legal Expert Certificate from the University of Cardiff in 2011, further enhancing her credentials as an expert in the field. She was also a lecturer at both The London Hospital in MSc Sports Medicine (2001) and Westminster University in BSc Sport Therapy (1999-2001).

Research

Ms Nicholl also has a strong research background focused on improving clinical and surgical outcomes in podiatry. The key areas of work include plantar fasciitis, she developed a grading system, evaluated treatment approaches, and reviewed surgical techniques.
