In 2015, Mr. Devaraj undertook an advanced vascular and endovascular fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada, where he gained expertise in endovascular aneurysm repair and minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins. He also completed an advanced vascular fellowship at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2014, further honing his skills in complex vascular procedures.
At UHCW, Mr. Devaraj pioneered the specialist Thoracic Outlet Syndrome service and has since developed a distinguished practice in this area, with over eight years of experience. His clinical expertise extends to the management of peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, and varicose veins. He has a particular interest in complex aneurysm treatments, peripheral arterial endovascular interventions, and thoracic outlet syndrome.
Mr. Devaraj treats patients using both traditional open surgery and advanced minimally invasive endovascular techniques, achieving excellent outcomes that are regularly submitted to the National Vascular Registry.
Beyond his clinical work, Mr. Devaraj is deeply committed to medical education and training. As a Surgical Tutor, he actively organises regional training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of medical students and trainee doctors in vascular medicine.
In his personal time, Mr. Devaraj enjoys playing cricket and badminton and cherishes spending time with his family and friends.
