Personal Profile

Mr David Murray completed his surgical training in the North West. Following this, he was appointed as Senior Clinical and Endovascular Fellow at the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, Australia. He returned to the UK in 2010 and was appointed as Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary.

He is currently the Clinical Head of The Cardiovascular Division at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Mr Murray's NHS and private practice encompasses all aspects of modern vascular practise, with a specialist interest in complex aneurysm repair. His research portfolio reflects these interests and he acts as Chief Investigator to aneurysm device research and registries, and also as an international proctor.
