About Mr David E Boddie

Personal Profile

Mr David Boddie graduated from Aberdeen University in 1991. After posts in Aberdeen and Edinburgh he returned for basic and higher training completing a year and a half full-time research prior to entering higher surgical training.

He completed a fellowship at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham and travelling fellowships in Harborview Trauma Center in Seattle and the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary prior to taking up post as a Consultant in Aberdeen in April 2004.

David remains involved in trauma and is presently an ATLS instructor and co-chairman of the AO Principles of Operative Fracture Management Course in Edinburgh.  His other areas of interest are in bone and soft-tissue tumours.
