After completing Ms Mathew medical training from Christian Medical College and Hospitals – Vellore, India, she underwent speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK. She was awarded the completion of training whilst at Nottingham Hospitals and gained entry into the Specialist Register.

Ms Mathew is the Gynae Cancer lead at Chesterfield Hospital NHS Trust.
She has a keen interest in medical education and have received further qualifications in Medical Education from University of Nottingham.

Ms Darly Mathew has been the quality lead for Obs and Gynae trainees in the EAST Midlands until 2016.
