About Miss Daniela Zanotti

Personal Profile

Miss Zanotti is an Upper-Gastro Intestinal and General Surgeon on a joint appointment between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

She has previously worked in high volume centres, such as Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust, University College London Hospital NHS Trust and Guy and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. Miss Zanotti performs open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) upper-GI operations, such as hiatus and para-oesophageal hernia repair, anti-reflux procedures, Heller’s myotomy for Achalasia, cholecystectomy with intra-operative cholangiogram, gastrectomy and oesophagectomy.

She also offers a vast spectrum of general surgery procedures, with both keyhole (laparoscopic) and open approaches, alongside diagnostic and therapeutic upper-GI endoscopy (balloon dilatations, naso-jejunal tube insertion, gastrostomy insertion/removal, stent insertion/removal).

Miss Zanotti has regular teaching sessions with junior doctors and medical students.
