Mr Daniel Widdowson is one of the leading specialists in plastic and reconstructive surgery in the UK. He trained in multiple locations around the UK including London, Salisbury, Canniesburn and Edinburgh, as well as completing fellowships in the USA.

He is a Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon working both in the NHS and independent sectors. A fully UK trained and certified Plastic Surgeon, his practice includes both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

His specialist interests are in plastic surgery, including all forms of breast surgery - breast reduction, augmentation, reconstruction and uplift surgery. He offers body contouring surgery including abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), gynaecomastia correction, liposuction and fat transfer procedures to enhance body shape.

Daniel regularly attends and contributes to reconstructive and cosmetic surgery meetings and is considered a leader amongst his contemporaries. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and co-convenes the Royal College of Surgeons microsurgical training course. He enjoys teaching trainee surgeons and medical students.

His wide ranging practice includes complex reconstructions after cancer and trauma surgery. Mr Widdowson is also the co-lead for Burns surgery in The East of Scotland.

Whilst being a leader in his field, Daniel also finds time to spend with his family and enjoys playing sports.
