Mr Craig Russell is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Cleft Surgeon at Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit, The National Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland, Glasgow Royal Infirmary and The Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, as well as also working privately at Ross Hall Hospital.

Mr Russell studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and qualified in 1997. Mr Russell carried out his basic surgical training in Cambridge and his plastic surgical training in the north of England. He then went on to undertake fellowships in Glasgow, India, France and New York. He was appointed as a Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive and Cleft Surgery in 2013. He was the Clinical Lead for both Paediatric Plastic Surgery and the National Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland, and is currently the Clinical Lead for the UK Cleft Lip and Palate Database. He also introduced the one-stop skin cancer service at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 2018.

Mr Russell's specialist areas lie within skin cancer, skin lesions and all other types of lumps and bumps.
