Dr Clare Tong is an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner dedicated to providing personalised, high-quality healthcare. She takes the time to understand each patient's individual needs, helping them make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing in a supportive and professional environment.

After graduating from Southampton University Medical School in 2006, Dr Tong completed her GP Specialty Training in 2011. She has worked across a variety of NHS GP practices in Reading and Wokingham, as well as in urgent care settings, gaining extensive experience in managing both acute and long-term health conditions.

Alongside her private GP practice, Dr Tong continues to work as an NHS GP and runs her own online GP service, supporting patients throughout the UK, with a particular focus on the Hong Kong British National (Overseas) community. Dr Clare Tong has been providing online GP services since 2023 and has since established a trusted presence within the UK Cantonese community. She is pleased to be offering face to face appointments at the Circle Hospital in Reading. 

Fluent in both Cantonese and English, she helps patients navigate the UK healthcare system with confidence, combining clinical expertise with an appreciation of their cultural background and healthcare expectations.

Passionate about health education, Dr Tong regularly shares evidence-based health information through social media and community health talks.
