About Ms Claire Jane Zweifel
Personal Profile
Ms Zweifel is a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon at St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery, Chelmsford.
Her scope of practice covers elective hand surgery, hand trauma surgery and general plastic surgery, including cosmetic surgery. She has a special interest in osteoarthritis and joint replacement in the hand, paediatric hand surgery, and secondary hand trauma surgery.
Ms Zweifel's basic surgical training and specialised plastic surgery training were undertaken at the University Hospital of Zurich, at Southend Univeristy Hospital and St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, where she pursued a specialist hand surgery fellowship. After completing her plastic surgery training (FMH), she was appointed as a consultant plastic surgeon at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
Ms Zweifel has published work in international publications and holds both a European Hand Surgery Diploma (FESSH) and is a fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).
