His distinguished medical career spans globally renowned institutions across the UK and India, underpinned by an unwavering commitment to advancing paediatric surgical care.
Mr Sinha completed his specialist training through the prestigious London Deanery – one of the UK’s leading postgraduate medical training bodies. Throughout his training and subsequent practice, he has held appointments at several world-renowned hospitals, including St George’s Hospital (London), The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (London), King’s College Hospital (London), Royal London Hospital (London), and Birmingham Children’s Hospital (Birmingham). His early medical journey also includes substantial contributions in India, where he trained and worked at the KEM Hospital (Mumbai) and the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (Varanasi) – two of India’s most respected medical institutions.
With a particular interest in Paediatric Urology and Paediatric Surgery, Mr Sinha has developed an extensive surgical repertoire and expertise in treating a wide spectrum of conditions in children. His surgical practice covers common and complex conditions such as phimosis, inguinal hernia, hydrocele, undescended testes, testicular torsion, bedwetting, and tongue-tie. He is also highly skilled in managing gastrointestinal conditions such as constipation, gastroesophageal reflux, abdominal pain, vomiting, rectal bleeding, and rectal prolapse.
Mr Sinha is a leading proponent of minimally invasive surgery, regularly performing advanced laparoscopic procedures including laparoscopic appendicectomy, laparoscopy for undescended testes, and diagnostic laparoscopy for abdominal pain. His expertise further extends to treating vascular anomalies such as lymphangiomas and haemangiomas, as well as common surgical issues including umbilical and epigastric hernias, neck lumps, lipomas, pilonidal sinus, abscesses, and ingrown toenails.
Beyond the operating theatre, Mr Sinha is a prolific academic and international speaker. He has delivered over 50 international presentations across 14 countries, showcasing his dedication to global knowledge exchange in paediatric surgery. He has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, contributing substantially to the medical literature in paediatric surgical care and innovations.
A key highlight of his academic legacy is his authorship of 16 medical books, including the globally recognised “Handbook of Paediatric Surgery” – published by Springer London–New York. This seminal work serves as an essential reference for paediatric surgeons and trainees worldwide and exemplifies Mr Sinha’s commitment to education and clinical excellence.
