Personal Profile
I then undertook two fellowships that fine-tuned my training: a year at Toronto General/Mount Sinai Hospitals, Canada, specialising in Microsurgery, Breast Reconstruction and Head and Neck Surgery. A second fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
I am Head and Clinical Lead in breast reconstruction at St Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospitals, my specialist area is in procedures such as breast reconstruction especially in undertaking free flap DIEP reconstruction (over 400 performed), breast enlargement/reduction, correction of breast asymmetry, breast lift, lipofilling, tummy-tuck, liposuction, body sculpting and corrective surgery after massive weight-loss. All of these I perform in my private and NHS practice.
I also run a clinic for removal of skin lesions and more information can be found on this website and a discussion with my secretary. I have a particular interest in women’s surgery and can dedicate an all women team to your surgical needs.
I have peer-review publications, co-authored book chapters and been invited to lecture at national and international meetings on a variety of topics in aesthetic and plastic surgery. Furthermore, I have raised over £8,000 for charity by taking part in bike races and climbing to the top of Kilimanjaro at 5895metres. This was a wonderful experience.
