About Mr Cameron Armfield

Personal Profile

As a dedicated and passionate Physiotherapist, Cameron brings over five years of experience to his role, beginning his journey as a Physiotherapy Assistant before progressing to his current position as a Physiotherapist. He has a First Class BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Cardiff Metropolitan University, which has provided him with a solid foundation in understanding the intricate relationship between movement, health, and performance.

His path in Physiotherapy includes being part of the first-ever cohort of physiotherapy apprentices at Teesside University, where he merged practical experience with academic knowledge. This unique apprenticeship, completed through Circle Health Group, honed his skills in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, enabling him to effectively support patients on their journey to recovery. Additionally, he volunteered at cardiac rehabilitation classes at Yeovil District Hospital, further enhancing his experience in patient care.

Alongside his physiotherapy training, he has completed a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and a specialisation in Fitness Nutrition from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). This comprehensive background in fitness and nutrition allows him to take a holistic approach to patient care, focusing not only on rehabilitation but also on overall wellness and injury prevention.

He has a particular interest in sports injuries, drawing from his personal experiences and his enthusiasm for athletics. As a keen golfer and tennis player, he understands the physical demands and unique challenges athletes face. This insight enables him to provide targeted interventions that help athletes recover swiftly and safely.

Outside of his professional life, Cameron is an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys running and hitting the gym. He believes that staying active is essential for both physical and mental well-being, and looks forward to supporting you on your journey to recovery and improved health.
