Dr Little is a senior Consultant working within the Royal Free Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He is the clinical lead for chest pain and cardiac rehabilitation services providing expert care for patients with cardiac chest pain or heart attacks.
Dr Little regularly performs coronary angiograms and interventions (angioplasty). He is part of the emergency heart attack treatment on-call service at the Royal Free Hospital. Additionally, he is skilled in performing permanent pacemaker implantation to treat slow heart rhythms.
Dr Little studied medicine at Imperial College London where he graduated with Merit in 2010. He was also awarded an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. He undertook his Cardiology training within prestigious teaching hospitals including the Hammersmith Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital.
Dr Little has been awarded a PhD from University College London, with prestigious research grants from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) UCL Biomedical Research Centre and the Wellcome Trust-EPSRC centre for Interventional & Surgical Sciences. His ongoing research interests include optimisation of coronary interventions through the use of intravascular imaging and novel optically based interventional devices.
